GitHub Copilot 如何重構 DevOps

“How GitHub Copilot Reshapes DevOps: The Arrival of Agentic DevOps” In this talk, presented to an audience of over 200 attendees, I used GitHub Copilot as an example to explore how AI can be deeply integrated across the entire DevOps lifecycle — transforming traditional automation into a human-AI collaboration model that spans planning, collaboration, and operations, officially ushering in the era of Agentic DevOps. Beyond introducing the concepts of Agentic DevOps and the next-generation Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), I also shared a set of Agentic DevOps Security Best Practices that I compiled, helping enterprises adopt AI agents in a way that enhances productivity while maintaining strong security and governance.

The Administration for Digital Industries under Taiwan’s Ministry of Digital Affairs, together with GitHub—the world’s largest developer platform—co-hosted the forum “Unlocking Developer Productivity with AI: The Future of Software Development” today (May 22) at InnoVEX. The event attracted more than 200 participants from diverse industries, including information technology, manufacturing, cloud computing, and e-commerce. The high level of engagement and dynamic discussions highlighted Taiwan’s strong interest in AI technologies and software innovation. The session was led by Karthik Rameshkumar, Director of Field Services for GitHub in the West Asia Pacific region, offering an in-depth exploration of how to leverage AI tools to enhance development efficiency and strengthen team collaboration. The event featured live demos and a fireside discussion, with a special appearance by Duran Hsieh — the only GitHub Star in Taiwan — who shared his contributions to the open-source community and how community engagement drives knowledge sharing and technical collaboration.
