How it works

Nomination

Once you nominate a Star, we will do a pre-check. If successful, they’re sent a link to complete a profile and finalize their nomination.

Review

Nominated Stars are reviewed by The GitHub Team.

Membership

Stars are invited to join the program and are announced on social media!

A few important things to remember

Anyone can nominate anyone, but you can’t nominate yourself.
Examples of GitHub community involvement and leadership are required.
The weight and quality of GitHub contributions will be strongly considered.
