Additionally, I've talked about Home Assistant and led a few panels. One about open protocols in the smart home and a panel with other open home-minded open-source projects like WLED, Z-Wave JS, and Zigbee2MQTT.
The month of "What the Heck?!" 2024
This is the third installment of the month of "What the Heck?!", an event I've been organizing at Home Assistant every two years. It is an interesting event in which we let the community share any issue, idea, suggestion, or annoyance they have with Home Assistant in the easiest way possible.
By opening a simple forum and lowering the barriers of contribution to the absolute minimum, we uncover anything the project can do over the next years, including low-hanging fruit and big-ticket items that help shape our roadmap.
